Robert Sprinzl, Commercial Director Malt, and Kay-Tassilo Pauli, Sales / Distribution Malt, offered the prospective master brewers a programme with a deep insight into the world of IREKS malts. After a brief introduction to the IREKS malt tradition in the form of our company film, a company tour with a focus on our modern malthouses followed. Here, the participants received a comprehensive insight into the production of our base and speciality malts. A particular highlight was the tour of the roasting drums in which our characteristic roasted malts are produced. At the end of the tour, the students were taken through the IREKS malt laboratories where they were able to experience our strict quality controls at first hand.
